What we do
The Nurse Healer Professional Associates Inc.(N.H.-P.A.I.) is a not-for-profit organization,established in 1977 under the direction Dolores Krieger,Phd.R.N. and is the only official organization for information on the Krieger/Kunz model of Therapeutic Touch(TT).
N.H.-P.A.I. is an international network of members who practice,teach and exchange research findings in TT.
Therapeutic Touch was developed in the early 1970's by Dolores Krieger professor emeritus of New York University,and Dora Kunz,a natural healer.
Therapeutic Touch is an intentionally directed process of energy exchange during which the practitioner uses the hands as a focus to facilitate the healing process.
